TO LIVE A HOLY LIVE
This Scripture needs no reflection from me. This
is a prayer for all of us.
To Live Holy Life
Strengthen my heart so I will be holy and blameless
in Your presence when Christ comes. Help me make
every effort to be good and knowledgeable,
self-controlled and godly, relying on the Spirit's power
within me. (1 Thessalonians 3:13; 2 Peter 1:5–7; Ephesians 3:16)
May I imitate the Lord Jesus Christ in all that I am and
everything I do, and may the way I live match what I
say I believe. May I make every effort to live a clean and
holy life, devoting myself to You, to prayer, and to doing
good. (1 Thessalonians 1:6; 1 Corinthians 4:17; Hebrews 12:14a;
Leviticus 27:28; Jeremiah 30:21; Colossians 4:2; Titus 3:8b)
May I desire more than anything else to follow You, setting
my heart and soul on seeking You. Help me move from strength
to strength, faith to faith, and glory to glory. May my love increase
and overflow for each other and for everyone else.
(Psalm 84:5; 1 Chronicles 22:19; Psalm 84:7; Romans 1:17;
2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 Thessalonians 3:12)
In Jesus' name, amen.

Don't Bug Me
Scripture:
"Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any
hears my voice and opens the door I will come
in to him and dine with him and he with Me"
(Rev. 3:20)
Reflection:
I think about this verse often. You know you and
I make decisions everyday. Some very important
and some not so important. I think my question
is how do you make those decisions? You see
the Lord is there for you, that's right He is always
there for you. Now it is every person's right to
tell God "Don't bother me, I don't need Your
help." But always remember, it is also God's
right to be there for you. You see Jesus is there
knocking and the only way He can come in, is
for you to open the door. That's right just open
your heart and life to Jesus Christ. Christ is
there for us, let's let Him in!!!!!
Prayer:
Thank you oh Lord for always knocking, for
being ready to fill our lives with Your Love.
Thank you for being there for me, Lord You
are welcome please come in. THANK GOD
FOR BEING GOD.

Asking God
Scripture:
"Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the
Father may be glorified in the Son. (John 14:13)
Reflection:
Over the years of prayer in my life, I have caught myself
doing something in my prayers to God that really isn't
to smart. Often in my prayers I kind of give God some
advice. I have found myself making a request to God
and then immediately telling Him how to answer that
request. In other words I expect God to answer my
request the way I want it answered. What a total lack
of faith, not to mention a waste of time. I don't have
enough faith in God to expect Him to do what's best
for me. I have to keep in mind and heart that God
always answers my prayers and always does what's
best for me. It may not always be the answer that I
want, but it is the answer that is best for me. I also
must remember that God answer's my prayer in His
time not mine. Let's you and I do something, the
next time we have a request to God, in total
commitment of faith, let Him answer the request
not us.
Prayer:
I praise and honor You oh Lord. Thanks you for your
commitment to me. THANK YOU GOD FOR BEING
GOD!
