DON'T BLAME GOD

Scripture:

13 When people are tempted, they should
not say, "God is tempting me." Evil cannot
tempt God, and God himself does not tempt
anyone.14 But people are tempted when their
own evil desire leads them away and traps
them.15 This desire leads to sin, and then
the sin grows and brings death.
James 1:13-15 (New Century Version)

Reflection:

It's an amazing thing
about us humans,
when something goes bad in our lives
we need to blame somebody and that's
usually God.  God why did You do this
to me or God why did you let this
happen to me?  I've even heard people
blame God for the holocaust, war, murder,
genocide (etc.) or at the very least claim
God is apathetic to evil.  And oh by the
way, we very rarely praise or thank God
when things goes right in our lives.
My friends, over the 62 years of my
life, I have discovered this:
Our God never, I repeat never, tempts
us with evil.  This would be completely
contrary to the nature of God.
We must always remember the devil,
(satan), is the primary tempter and
provider of evil in our lives and in our
world. (Matthew 4: 1-10).
While sometimes we destroy ourselves,
our Father in heaven only gives us His
grace and good gifts.
REMEMBER GOD LOVES US AND EVIL
HATES US. GOD SEE'S US AS WINNERS,
SATAN SEE'S US AS LOSERS.

I SEE NOW

Scripture:

25He replied, "Whether he is a sinner or not,
I don't know. One thing I do know. I was blind
but now I see!"
John 9:25 (New International Version)

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
John Newton (1725-1807)

Reflection:

"Was blind but now I see"
How is that possible?  How can you be
blind but now you see?  It would be
impossible, it would have to be a
miracle.
That blind man did not know very much
about Jesus  He just knew that Jesus
had healed him.  A Miracle, he was
now seeing.
Because of this miracle, this man let
everyone know how great Jesus was.
You know something, we don't need to
know everything about Jesus.  We
just need to tell people what we do
know about Him, and that might be
enough.
"I WAS BLIND BUT NOW I SEE"
I'M GOING TO TELL ALL ABOUT THAT
MIRACLE.
IT WAS A LIFE CHANGER!!!!!!!

Prayer:

Lord,through many dangers, toils and
snares I have already come;
It's Your Grace that brought me safe thus far
and I know that Your Grace will lead me home.

JUST OPEN YOUR HEART

PLEASE READ, PLEASE FEEL. AND YOU WILL KNOW

1 Corinthians 13
Love
1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
AMEN
