God is There For Us
Scripture:
"Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.
They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing
as they return with the harvest." Psalm 126:5-6 NLT
"For he has not ignored the suffering of the needy. He has not turned and walked away. He has listened to their cries
for help". Psalm 22:24 NLT
"
Reflection:
You know, I believe one of the worse things about televangelists talking about being born again, is that they give the distinct impression that if you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, there will be no more suffering, and that your life will be filled with
joy. I do agree there is a great deal of joy in your life, I disagree about the suffering. The Bible does not promise that we as Christians won't suffer. Actually we can expect to suffer. As Christians we will be persecuted and suffer. We are surrounded by evil, I really believe this. The world
is full of evil, and the good do suffer from the evil. But what God promises us that our suffering will bring new growth. As I look back in my life, I see that many of the things that I truly suffered from has
made me a better person and, without a doubt, a better Christian. You know the worst kind of suffering is the suffering we experience alone. It helps when we have another
person who is sympathetic with our problem, the suffering is much easier to bear. God is not only our Father, He is our partner. Jesus Christ hears our cries. I am totally convinced that my Savior Jesus Christ has never failed to respond to my pain
and suffering. You see thats the beauty of having Jesus Christ in my life, I still suffer in my life but I'm never alone, I never suffer alone, Jesus Christ is always there for me. He is there for you.
Prayer:
Oh Jesus, thank you for always being there. You are my Savior and my companion. You take the pain away. Since You have come in to my life I grown, I turn my suffering over to You. THANK YOU GOD FOR BEING GOD!

I Believe!
Scripture:
"And he said, Lord I believe" (John 9: 3i8)
Reflection:
This was the response the blind man gave after
being healed by Jesus. Wow! What a response
to an unbelievable miracle, "I believe". You
know there is a very important question surrounding
that declaration. Do You Believe? I wonder what
your response is. I believe because of the life
changing miracles that take place in my life. My
whole life completely changed when I accepted
Christ into my life. When I opened the door to
my heart to Jesus, my life became a miracle.
One of the biggest changes was I went from a
person who really didn't care, to a very caring
person. To me this is a miracle. I learned that
I could love my enemies, my friends, my family,
and even strangers, people who I never met but
felt a deep compassion. I became a caring
person, who was suddenly and dramatically
aware of the world around him. I now wanted
to contribute to the betterment of that world. This
is one of the reason's I believe. How about you!
Prayer:
Thank you God that I believe. Thank you for
the miracle of compassion. Most of all Lord
Thank you for your greatest gift, Love. THANK
YOU GOD FOR BEING GOD.

A Step At A Time
Scripture:
The Lord will guide you continually, watering your life when you are dry and keeping you healthy, too.
Isaiah 58:11 NLT
Reflection:
When I was a kid, I was a dreamer. I used to love to dream about all the
possibilities ahead of me in my life. I was always dreaming, and
wondering what was going to happen. Of course they were dreams,
they really never happened. But I still catch myself wondering what's
in store for me a year from now. I have discovered something
very important to me. Jesus leads me one day at a time, like they
say in AA, one step at a time. There is really no need to worry
about coming events in my life. I'm still a dreamer, but it's nice
to know God is there guiding me. I believe I often know the the way
Jesus is leading, but I still humbly count on His guidance.
God is their for you too, let Him guide you in your life. All you
need to do is have faith, believe in Jesus, let Him guide your
life.
Prayer:
Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah,
Pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but Thou art mighty;
Hold me with Thy powerful hand;
Bread of heaven,
Feed me till I want no more,
Feed me till I want no more.
(William Williams) THANK YOU GOD FOR BEING GOD
