But they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony,

Prayer

 

Confronted with great evil, we confess our desire to
meet it with overwhelming force. And yet, O Lord, you
met evil with love, with forgiveness, with mercy, with a
willing death on the cross. Convert us, today and everyday,
to your way of peace, Almighty Lord, Lamb who was Slain.
