WONDROUS WORKS OF HIS PERFECT LAW
Scripture: Read Psalm 19
Reflection:
Have you ever listened to the beautiful song of the sunrise?
Or witnessed the eloquent preaching of snow capped
mountains as the communicate to us the incredible artistry
of God? When we pause to appreciate the natural beauty
of our world, and quiet ourselves away from the noise of
sin that surrounds us, we will hear creation whisper,"trust
the voice of God...His law is perfect. Surrender to Him,
allow your soul to be His canvas, and let His word transform
your life into a masterpiece for His glory.
God is an amazing artist, and His perfect law and allows
our lives to be His wondrous works. Let's surrender to the
pen stroked of His perfect law, and allow our lives to be His
work of art.
"The heavens are telling the glory of God, and the
firmament proclaims His handiwork. Day to day pours forth
speech and night to night declares knowledge..... The law
of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul" (vv. 1-2,7)

ACCOMPANIED BY GODS WORD
Scripture:
They are a garland to grace your headand a chain
to adorn your neck. — Proverbs 1:9
to adorn your neck. — Proverbs 1:9
This verse from Proverbs teaches us that we are never
alone with the Bible by our side. Its words are our
companion. Its teachings are our guide. Its messages,
a source of love. When there is no one to show us the
way, God’s Word will direct us. When there is no one to
help us maneuver through the dangers of life, the Bible
will protect us. Just as a garland surrounds a head, let
God’s Word surround our soul. Then, we will walk
protected, directed, and loved.

MEMBER OF OUR COMMUNITY
If there is among you anyone in need, a member of
your community in any of your towns within the land
that the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hard-
hearted or tight-fisted toward your needy neighbor.
You should rather open your hand, willingly lending
enough to meet the need, whatever it may be.

Prayer
Holy God, friend of the poor, help us to see your image
in the face of all who ask for our help, that we might
open wide our hand unto them.
